Life beyond screens it’s whole different world

It's not just about turning off screens, it's about turning on life!

Today, more and more parents find themselves fighting against the amount of time their children spend in front of screens. Technology, when used wisely, is a great resource, but when it becomes an addiction, it risks shutting down family communication and isolating children and young people from the real world.

“Life Beyond the screen it’s a Whole Different World” is the campaign created by Donato Salvia, writer, parent, and grandparent, to offer parents practical tools to reduce excessive screen time and rediscover the quality of time spent together.

Our mission: Reestablishing dialogue with your children

Many parents feel alone and misunderstood in their concerns. They often think they are the only ones facing this problem, until they discover that many others share the same fears. Our campaign is not a war against technology, but a journey to restore balance in family life, teaching parents how to replace screen time with authentic moments of connection and growth.

The difference in our campaign

Unlike other initiatives that focus solely on social media or video game addiction, we start from a broader perspective:

The real problem is screen time in any form, not just on smartphones or tablets.

We don’t just offer theories, but practical tools to take immediate action and improve parent-child relationships.

Donato Salvia is a parent and grandfather, not an academic: his approach is real, concrete, and immediately applicable.
